Job Summary:
Responsible for maintaining production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and all mechanical equipment. Will work closely with Capital Infrastructure Coordinator to provide upkeep to facilities including small remodel jobs, building repairs, small plumbing repairs and other various tasks withing the manufacturing facilities.
Essential Job Requirements:
High School Diploma required. General construction experience including electrical, plumbing, and basic HVAC required. Familiar with conduit systems, and machine/general electrical processes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. Must be able to stand, bend, climb and reach overhead and below waist level as well as the ability to lift 10 pounds on a regular basis while lifting over 25 pounds occasionally Comfortable working individually as well as part of a group. CDL a plus. Overtime hours and some Saturdays will be required.
Preferred Skills:
General computer knowledge including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Job Duties:
- Utilize general skills for various maintenance and facility repairs including
- Drywall repair
- Concrete work
- Steel building roof repair
- Walk door install and repair
- Painting
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities
- Ability to use a variety of power tools and material handling equipment to perform duties
- Assist with snow removal in the Winter including skid loader usage
- Work in a safe manner, using required PPE
- Complete various projects in a timely manner via multitasking and prioritizing
- Other duties as assigned
